One of the most sinister snakes to slither out of the Dodge Viper plant in Detroit rolled off the assembly line on Tuesday as Chrysler simultaneously marks the final year of production for the current generation of its iconic supercar and launches a new race series. The first 2010 Viper SRT10 ACR-X was completed at the Connor Avenue plant, also known as the “Snake Pit” in the Motor City. It's a track-only car designed for road-racing enthusiasts, and it melds top performance parts from the Viper ACR (street legal) and the Viper Competition Coupe (far from it).
Following on from the Impreza concept that debuted at L.A last year, the all new Subaru Impreza, set to be unveiled at New York looks set to retain most of the concepts attributes. Subaru have officially 'teased' this side profile shot of the car, showing that the concepts pronounced arches, DLO and surfacing seems to have made the transition to production model, relatively unscathed. BMW has enlisted the BMW M135i, DTM driver Martin Tomczyk and the Zurich Acapella Group to create the fastest Christmas song in the world. The BMW M135i may not be a ‘real’ BMW M car, but it’s still mighty swift.
